For those who missed the Zoom meeting on Friday:

  • STAAR EOCs are waived for all students who pass the class for the year. If you are not currently passing for the year, you will be getting emails to invite you to complete remediation exercises to give you an opportunity to pass.
    • For the 5th 6 weeks, use THIS document – due by 9 April.
    • For 1st – 4th 6 weeks, I will invite you to a Google Classroom where you will complete assignments to earn remediation credit, up to 70% for the grading period.
  • UPDATE: TSI has been waived; therefore, you may enrol in dual credit without having passed the test first.
  • Please email your counselor with SCHEDULING issues.
  • All GRADES are updated and include LIVESCHOOL points.
  • For the 6th 6 WEEKS’ GRADES, all assignments that earn a passing score will get a 100%; all assignments earning a failing grade will get a 69% – pass/fail system.
    • I will post assignments for each week to Google Classroom on Sunday nights by 11:59 PM.
    • Assignments will be due at the end of the school week (usually Friday) by 11:59 PM.
    • Use the CALENDAR for a suggested timeline, remind you of A/B rotations, and to get join codes for No Red Ink and CommonLit.

This week you are to complete ONE NoRedInk Assignments called “Who is Banksy.” Then you will complete “Tai Cave Boys” in CommonLit.
